Complying to the ADA sink when working with a solid surface integral bowl has it challenges. The biggest challenge is having a sink that is large enought yet still works with the strict ADA dimensions. WAHU-wall hung caseworks, has introduced their own molded ADA solid Surface sink that also addresses infection prevention.
- sloped front to allow fresh water from the facet to gently flow back, no flat direct splash up
- drain is positioned off center so no germs from drain trap can be splashed up
- all edges are rounded and pitched towards the drain for easy cleaning
The dimensions that ADA has in place for the proper approach to sinks and clearance, as shown below are easily followed by wahu's modular millwork.
